Update from MSA on our Auto-Belay Descender for our Static Rock Wall
Greetings Planet X'ers,
We just received an update from MSA regarding the Auto-Belay system that we use for our Static Climbing Wall. It is exciting to see that they HAVE NOT YET FOUND THE AUTO-BELAY TO BE AT FAULT FOR THE ACCIDENTS THAT WERE AT OTHER SITES. They are still waiting for information back from the bearing manufacturer to see if there was some damage to the bearing. This information is scheduled to be available to them this time next week. We are as anxious to hear back about this as you are and cannot wait to re-open our Static Climbing Wall. We once again want to re-inform you that NEITHER OF THE ACCIDENTS WERE AT PLANET X, but at other sites where similar Auto-Belays were used.
